I bought this to read because it has a a large section on 'Biblical Archaeology without Egypt', as well as a mystery over the chronology of ancient history. It also has chapters on Egypt, Mesopotamia and is basically about the problem of dating.
I had just read a book about Ancient Egyptian gods and religion and the book just appealed to me.
It wasn't quite what I had thought it would be - it's a little hard going, but if you love ancient history you will enjoy it.
