The Bloody Sacrifice

Charlotte (if I may call her that) is a self-confessed 'non denominational magickal practitioner and an animist' and this is her story of her work with blood. She uses road kill and blood in art, scarification, tattooing, and the use of veinous and menstrual blood (lovely!).

More interestingly she interviews a number of unusual characters. Her book is divided into four parts: Art, Mortification, Sacrifice and The Spaces in-between. In the latter section she gets into demonic initiation.

It seeks to consider the power contained in blood. She is as she says an animist! If you know what I mean.
