This may have been a slightly strange buy, but I bought it because I was researching the background to ancient gods and godesses (those written about in the Old Testament) and this was written from a Christian prophetic perspective, but did give some of the background I was looking for.

It is an interesting read, whether you accept what he says or not. His teaching is that the ancient gods have indeed returned to modern day America and he seeks to support his view by pointing to many events and movement in the US, leading to rampant sexual immorality and the abortion of millions of babies in the US alone.

Personally, the book gave me some of the background I was looking for in relation to the ancient gods of Sumer, Assyria and Babylon. I enjoyed the read. Makes you think!
