Following on from my previous blog about the Glorious Revolution: our governments are not promoting Roman Catholicism, Protestantism, or Non-Conformity, but it is using and misusing the Church of England and specifically the bishops of the Church of England (although not all of them) to advance false teaching and heresy in the land and to bring division and disrespect to the Established Church to weaken it.

It is promoting a particular ideology and a particular religion, but that religion is not Christian. Therefore, the government has been advancing and elevating those who support their ideology and this particular religion, and we have seen the changes that this has brought to our country. We now have sectarianism. We have a Church of England that is apostate, as far as most of its bishops are concerned, and since they lead the church, they are leading the church into apostasy and false teaching.

King James II used an unlawful Court to attack and ruin the universities. Why? Universities were open only to members of the Church of England. They were the places that people discussed things and learnt the doctrines of the Church of England, most of which reflect the teaching of the Bible, although not all of them. He attacked them, dismissed the Fellows, replaced them with Roman Catholics and turned three of them into Roman Catholic places of learning. This caused enormous opposition.

What we've had in our country for many decades is a ruination of our universities by indoctrinating our young people with Socialism and Marxism. They have also taught them that anyone who doesn’t agree with them is a ‘bad person’, an ‘evil person’ who doesn’t care about anybody but themselves and their greed! Young people are told that they should not speak to such people and they actively should seek to stop them talking to everybody else.

Our young men and women have become ideologues, with a very nasty streak of suppressing anyone who doesn't agree with them or has a different viewpoint. The universities have been ruined which means our people have been ruined. We have seen plenty of reports in the Press about the lack of free speech, the intimidation from the Left of anyone who is opposed to them, intimidation of Jews, intimidation of anyone and everyone who is not with them in the universities.

As a result of trying to eradicate free thought, free expression, and free speech, our governments have had to introduce laws that deal with "hate". This isn't about hate, this is about control, control of those people who say the things that need to be said, which shortly before they said them would've been accepted by most people as being commonsense, natural, normal and obvious. Once we have the ‘hate’ laws then it is ‘hate’ speech and cannot be said (the aim is to make it literally ‘unthinkable’). We all know that this is designed to shut down discussion. This is exactly what happened in the Soviet Union. No one was allowed to talk about certain subjects or if anyone was, he was only allowed to talk about them in particular ways, using a particular (new form of ) language, which was acceptable to the State.

This is what's been going on in our country. Our governments have penalized us (by fines, by imprisonment, ruining one's reputation) if we do not fall into line with what they want us to think, as well as say. Language has been changed in an attempt to prevent us even thinking in particular ways.  This is why it's so important to know history, the history of this nation, because history tells us something that is truer than we are being told by our governments or by the media today in 2026.

King James also tried to appoint magistrates of his own choice; he tried to appoint all those who were to have power in local authorities and in all of the organizations that sought to run the nation. Think of the proliferation of quangos and ‘The Long March through the Institutions’, which started decades ago. Slowly those of a particular ideology and religion have been promoted and elevated to positions of power so that now it is difficult to speak common sense and decent things in any Institution of this nation.

The barbarians are not at the gate! The barbarians are inside the gate and controlling the city!

Parliament has somehow been filled with these people! Let me emphasise that I'm not saying it's just the Labour Party; it is the Uni party. I now believe that the Uni party is real. I say this because of something that GM Trevelyan wrote in his book "The English Revolution, 1688-1689".

Following the Glorious Revolution when the power structure in the country was settled, the king no longer had supreme power in the land, Parliament did. This meant that the king could never become a tyrant again. Trevelyan asked, “What was there to prevent Parliament itself becoming a tyrant?” This is the question: “What is it that we have in our system that prevented and prevents or should prevent Parliament becoming a tyrant itself?”

Trevelyan's answer was the Two-Party system, the Tories (landed wealth, supporters of the monarchy) and the Whigs (other forms of wealth, seeking to limit the power of the monarchy). They really did not get on with each other. Their antagonism to one another caused many problems and was very often counterproductive and unhelpful. However, Trevelyan makes the point that because of this neither the Tories nor the Whigs could ever become tyrants, because the other side wouldn't allow them to be.

My question is, What happens if the Two-Party system becomes a One-Party system? (To be Continued).
